A Violet PR Case Study
Pittsburgh International Airport, a nonprofit authority serving 9 million passengers annually, enlisted Violet PR to raise awareness for its new sensory space. The challenge was that air travel can be overwhelmingly stressful for people with autism due to long lines, bright lights, and unfamiliar sounds, which can deter them from flying.
Violet PR conducted research to identify the airport's space as the world's largest and then secured media coverage. The campaign resulted in over 45 national news stories, including placements in outlets like the TODAY show and USA Today, achieving an online readership of 1.93 million and 80.4 thousand social shares.
