Carta (formerly eShares) is a San Francisco–based equity-management platform that needed to move fast on feature work while controlling a rising volume of bugs. With a small internal dev team and rapid growth, Carta engaged Vinta Software for Team Augmentation support on a Python/Django and KnockoutJS project to help fix bugs quickly without slowing feature delivery.

Vinta Software embedded with Carta’s team using Slack, Jira and GitHub, introduced regression tests and best practices, and tackled issues across HTML/CSS/JS and Python/Django. Within the first month Vinta reduced open bugs from dozens to just a few, and over a six-month engagement kept defect levels low while speeding resolution and improving development processes.
