Leading Health Foundation worked with Vinehealth to address the challenge of supporting colorectal cancer patients with self-management, especially given pressure on NHS oncology services and the risk that poor self-management can worsen patient experience and outcomes. Vinehealth’s app was used as the technology platform to help patients better track and manage their condition and treatment experience.

Vinehealth delivered its app to over 100 colorectal cancer patients, collecting qualitative and quantitative data to understand the impact of treatment on quality of life and to evaluate how better self-management affected outpatient services. The solution received highly positive patient feedback, drove strong usage across app features, improved medication adherence, and increased engagement with patient educational materials.
