KonMari’s guide to creating an online course that sparks joy

KonMari, led by Marie Kondo, wanted to extend its tidying method beyond books and Netflix into a more direct, visual learning experience for fans around the world. To do that, the company launched its “Fundamentals of Tidying” online course using Vimeo OTT, creating a scalable way to help customers learn the KonMari Method in a format that was easier to follow and more accessible internationally.

Vimeo OTT helped KonMari build a ten-episode course with short, digestible lessons, subtitles, and supplemental “Extras” content to support learners at each step. The result was a course purchased by thousands of organizing enthusiasts and distributed in over 100 countries, giving KonMari a new revenue stream and a way to reach international customers who couldn’t be served through physical products.
