How this religious association took its community online

The Unitarian Universalist Association, a progressive religious denomination, needed a way to move events, training, and worship online during the COVID-19 pandemic while keeping congregants and leaders connected. It turned to Vimeo to share webinars, organizational videos, and live services as a digital outreach and community-building tool.

Using Vimeo and Vimeo Live, the UUA enabled congregational leaders to re-share and embed videos, kept members informed with updates on justice and pastoral work, and streamed worship and virtual events in real time. The result was stronger community engagement, more support for local leaders, and a way for congregants to participate safely from anywhere with a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
