The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) needed a professional video platform that could better support students, faculty, and staff, but its legacy system made sharing, organizing, and reusing video content difficult. With more than 500,000 videos in its library and growing support issues, SCAD looked for a scalable, industry-standard solution and chose Vimeo.

Vimeo helped SCAD migrate its entire video library through an API integration and roll out a more collaborative platform for sharing, embedding, and building reusable video libraries. The transition was completed in just two quarters, and the impact was strong: 90% adoption among students, faculty, and staff, more than 450,000 video views in the first year, 76,000 unique viewers, and over 52,000 hours of watch time.
