Pallet-Track, a freight network comprising nearly 90 haulier members, faced the challenge of modernizing its IT infrastructure to automate manual procedures, eradicate task duplication, and drive new innovation to remain competitive. Their goal was to establish a technological foundation for improved transparency and future growth. They partnered with long-term technology provider Vigo Software to develop a solution.

Vigo Software designed and implemented a suite of technology solutions for Pallet-Track, including a Central Billing system, an Electronic Customer Paperwork (E-Doc) process, and the PlanIT planning tool. These solutions simplified financial administration, created a fully automated and paperless document system, and provided accurate ETA information. The results significantly improved productivity and customer service across the entire network, reduced operational costs for both the hub and member depots, and provided superior tools for cost analysis and vehicle utilization, helping to improve profitability.
