A Viget Case Study
World Wildlife Fund worked with Viget to address disorganized content and tell its organizational story in a more compelling way. After years of publishing on separate desktop and mobile sites, WWF had accumulated content sprawl and a disconnect that made it harder to share its mission and connect with supporters.
Viget researched how WWF’s audience categorized animals and used that insight to organize content around the stories users wanted to see. The team built a custom CMS on Rails, unified the desktop and mobile sites into a responsive experience, and simplified the site by pruning 27% of pages. The result was a 22% increase in revenue per visit, a 49% increase in visit duration, and a 146% increase in Conservation Advocacy Network advocacy actions.
