Workforce Training Center Supports XR with ViewSonic 135” Direct View LED Display and 86” ViewBoard Interactive Displays

Hinds Community College aimed to create an advanced XR training center to support workforce development and showcase the potential of extended reality to local businesses and students. Their challenge was to equip the facility with reliable, commercial-grade display technology that could draw visitors in and facilitate collaborative learning and content development.

The solution, implemented with ViewSonic, featured a massive 135” Direct View LED display as a focal point and multiple 86” ViewBoard interactive displays on motorized trolleys for versatile use. ViewSonic's technology successfully created a thriving center that impresses visitors and hosts daily classes. The results include increased interest from local enterprises and new, innovative training partnerships, such as a VR program for the Diesel Equipment Technology program, fulfilling the college's mission.
