ViewSonic’s ViewBoard for interactive guided tours at the Hellenic IT Museum

The Hellenic IT Museum, a technology museum in Athens, faced the challenge of digitizing its exhibition content and increasing interactivity to better engage younger visitors. To modernize its installations, the museum partnered with ViewSonic to replace traditional printed materials with an interactive solution, seeking a large and intuitive display for its guided tours.

ViewSonic implemented its ViewBoard IFP5550-3 55" 4K interactive display alongside myViewBoard software and Companion app. This solution provided a platform for multimedia content and interactive tools like annotation and a smartphone laser pointer. The results showed a highly positive impact: surveys revealed that 100% of teachers and over 97% of students agreed the ViewBoard helped them stay focused, while nearly all teachers and 95% of students felt it improved information retention.
