ViewSonic myViewBoard Software Brings Streamlined Collaborative Learning to Fourth Grade Classroom

Granite School District, a large public school district in Utah, faced the challenge of upgrading its aging classroom display technology and integrating new interactive capabilities to improve digital and collaborative learning for its students. To address this, the district partnered with ViewSonic and selected their ViewBoard interactive displays, which came with the integrated myViewBoard software suite.

The solution centered on the myViewBoard software, specifically its "Classroom" and "huddle" features, which allowed small groups of students to collaborate simultaneously on digital canvases from their Chromebooks. ViewSonic provided crucial support by quickly developing a feature to automatically save huddle progress to Google Classroom. The results were highly positive; teachers reported streamlined workflows and easier substitute lesson planning, while virtually all students enjoyed the collaborative, paper-free method. The solution successfully facilitated small group collaboration and enhanced student engagement across the district.
