ViewSonic® Displays Deliver Durable Visibility and Sound Quality in McDonald’s Kitchens throughout Uruguay

McDonald's in Uruguay, owned by Arcos Dorados, faced the challenge of implementing its "Made for You" (MFY) system to produce fresh, made-to-order meals. This required a reliable way to instantly transmit orders from the cash register to monitors strategically placed throughout the kitchen, necessitating durable and high-quality displays. To meet this need, they partnered with vendor ViewSonic.

ViewSonic provided a suite of its VA Series monitors, including the VA2246m-LED, VA2451m-LED, and VA2446m-LED models. These displays delivered the required durability, image and sound quality, and connectivity for the commercial kitchen environment. The solution was a major success; it improved kitchen efficiency, reduced food waste, and facilitated the personalized ordering system. After over a year of use, the ViewSonic monitors exceeded expectations, leading McDonald's Uruguay to plan new store openings with the same technology.
