ViewSonic partnered with the creative marketing agency Caveat to produce an original faux-sitcom, The Finchers, as a novel marketing campaign. The primary challenge was creating this high-quality, multi-part series during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic with production and creative teams collaborating remotely across the globe between Los Angeles and Taipei, making seamless communication and visual collaboration difficult.
ViewSonic's solution was to utilize its own technology, including ViewBoard interactive displays, a Direct View LED Display for a live-streamed virtual set, and ColorPro monitors for post-production. This enabled the international teams to brainstorm, shoot, and edit the series remotely. The results were highly successful, generating an original series of high-quality media that reached over 124 million viewers and achieved 17 million video views and 12 million engagements, effectively showcasing ViewSonic's remote collaboration tools.
