Upgrading to ViewSonic ViewBoard Displays Helps Langston University “Roll” With Remote and In-Person Learning

Langston University, a historically black university (HBCU), needed to quickly upgrade its aging technology to support remote and in-person learning across its many uniquely shaped and sized classrooms. The challenge was to deploy a professional-grade, standardized, and interactive solution without lengthy custom installations. They partnered with vendor ViewSonic to address this need.

ViewSonic's solution involved equipping 75 classrooms with a mobile cart system featuring their ViewBoard IFP7550 interactive displays and slot-in PCs. This approach was significantly cheaper and faster to install than a traditional renovation. The result was a highly successful deployment completed within six months, which thrilled instructors with its connectivity and annotation capabilities and allowed the university to effectively roll out a consistent technology solution across all its campuses.
