University Adds Esports Impact with ViewSonic ELITE Gaming Monitors and LAN Center Partnership

The Harrisburg University of Science and Technology sought to outfit a multipurpose esports LAN center with leading-edge technology to support its students, community, and professional Soniqs esports team. The challenge was to find equipment suitable for users ranging from casual gamers to professionals. To meet this need, the university partnered with ViewSonic.

ViewSonic implemented a solution featuring 20 of its ELITE XG270 27-inch 240Hz gaming monitors and multiple large-format commercial displays. This equipped the new LAN center with state-of-the-art gaming stations and displays for viewing competitions and branding. The results provide students with hands-on experiential learning opportunities, create a pathway to esports careers, and serve as a community hub, achieving the university's vision of investing in student success.
