Special Needs Classrooms Add Adaptable, Expanded Access with ViewSonic ViewBoard Displays

Seymour Community Schools, a public school district in Indiana, sought to enhance its special needs classrooms by deploying interactive touchscreen displays. The challenge was to outfit all their developmental and life skills classrooms with this technology while remaining within the constraints of their available grant funds. They partnered with vendor ViewSonic to implement a solution using their ViewBoard interactive displays.

By choosing the cost-effective ViewSonic ViewBoard displays, the school was able to purchase larger 75-inch models and mount them on height-adjustable mobile carts for greater adaptability. The solution resulted in significantly improved student engagement, particularly for those with visual or cognitive difficulties, as the larger, high-quality screen better held their attention. Teachers reported the ViewSonic displays made their classrooms more versatile and led to the most successful lessons they had ever conducted.
