ICESI University Modernizes Classrooms with ViewSonic Technology

Universidad ICESI, a leading higher education institution in Colombia, faced the challenge of replacing its aging, obsolete projectors that required frequent lamp replacement. The university sought to implement new technology to facilitate teacher performance and provide students with enhanced learning tools. To address this, they partnered with vendor ViewSonic to deploy their LS600W and LS610WH projectors.

ViewSonic implemented over 150 lamp-free projectors specifically designed for educational environments. The solution allowed the IT team to manage the projectors remotely and provided teachers with user-friendly technology. The results were extremely positive, with high satisfaction from both faculty and students. The successful experience led the university to continue upgrading its equipment and to share the initiative with other institutions, generating new projects for ViewSonic.
