Case Study: CUE creates a flexible 21st-century classroom with ViewSonic displays

CUE, a nonprofit educational corporation, sought to overhaul a traditional classroom to support modern, collaborative teaching methods. Their challenge was to achieve this transformation in a cost-effective way by updating both the technology and furnishings with minimal equipment, implementation, and professional development costs. To address this, they partnered with vendor ViewSonic and utilized their interactive displays.

The solution involved installing a ViewSonic IFP7550 75” ViewBoard and two 55” CDE5510 displays around the room, connecting them via HDMI to an existing interactive whiteboard to create four-wall visibility. This, combined with flexible furniture from MeTEOR Education, enabled seamless student collaboration and content sharing from any device. The results included a dynamic learning space where students could easily view content without strain, the teacher could move freely, and collaboration was enhanced. ViewSonic's technology was noted for its simplicity, requiring minimal IT setup and training while providing significant cost savings.
