Unite Group Uses Viewpoint For Projects for Moonraker Alley Project

Unite Group, a specialist student accommodation provider since 1991 that houses around 40,000 students, commissioned a £25m refurbishment of the Moonraker Alley site in Central London to deliver 671 student bed spaces and 2,230 m2 of retail-led commercial space. As an owner-operator, Unite had experienced difficulties monitoring and standardising project management across its portfolio and needed a more consistent way to control documentation and processes.

Unite adopted Viewpoint For Projects collaboration software—building on prior use—to centralise documentation, information and workflows. Working with Viewpoint’s implementation team they developed a bespoke project template; it became the third Unite project using an extranet in two months and deliverables are now managed with greater consistency, control and standardisation across future projects.
