Willmott Dixon, main contractor for Bath & North East Somerset Council’s new £34m Keynsham headquarters, faced the challenge of speeding up on-site processes mid-construction—particularly snagging, health & safety permits, quality assurance and communications—while reducing paperwork and improving auditability across subcontractors and corporate teams.

They deployed Viewpoint’s Field View on Android tablets, preconfigured to Willmott Dixon’s processes, allowing real-time capture, photo annotation and instant sync with Viewpoint For Projects. The solution was quickly adopted and produced measurable gains: about 600 snags recorded in nine months, an estimated 500–600 permits managed, roughly five minutes saved per issued notice, less printing, faster reporting, more consistent data and stronger audit trails.
