Sierra Construction, an independently owned general contractor founded in 1994 in Woodstock, Ontario, operates across design/build, heavy civil and land development divisions. After relying on Sage ACCPAC, the company found the software’s capabilities limited and lacked an integrated solution for inter-company transactions and clear, organization-wide job cost visibility.

In 2016 Sierra implemented Vista by Viewpoint to centralize financials and project controls, reducing paper shuffling and creating a single version of the truth that improved accountability. The system lets them review and adjust invoicing, upload estimates, issue purchase orders and track supplier/sub costs, giving tighter control over payments, clearer job costing and measurable cost savings.
