McLaren Construction was appointed main contractor for Tottenham Hotspur FC’s £45 million Training Academy at Bulls Cross, a complex 12‑month build centred on a 70m x 50m indoor pitch and including hydrotherapy, gym, medical, media and support facilities. Facing a two‑stage tender process and a wide range of stakeholders and subcontractors, McLaren needed a reliable way to control communications, document workflows and tendering across design, construction, snagging and handover.

McLaren selected Viewpoint For Projects (4Projects) as its SaaS collaboration platform to provide a central communications hub, efficient document control, automated workflows and a full audit trail. The system was used from tendering through handover to streamline subcontract order control, enforce design checks before release, and improve collaboration among project teams and consultants, supporting more efficient project delivery.
