Magleby Construction Turns to ProContractor as its Complete Construction Solution

Magleby Construction is a Lindon, Utah–based builder of estate homes and commercial projects with more than 100 employees and nine legally separate divisions. Although the firm had used legacy software since 2001, much information lived in spreadsheets and manual processes, causing poor cost visibility, missed billings and write-offs, and inefficient subcontractor and change-order management.

In December 2011 Magleby adopted ProContractor by Viewpoint for end‑to‑end estimating, project management, accounting and mobile access, rolling it out in phases. Centralizing data with multi‑company and subaccount functionality gave managers detailed cost insight, uncovering savings such as ~$80K a year on insurance, stopping wasted storage and unused phone lines, streamlining subcontractor and change‑order workflows, improving field communication via iPads, and reducing staffing costs by roughly $130K annually.
