Heery International managed the Silverburn Retail and Leisure development, a one-million-square-foot, $593M regional shopping and leisure complex in Scotland featuring more than 110 retail outlets, two 100,000+ sq ft department stores, a 50,000 sq ft retailer and a tropical winter garden. Because the project was large, long-running and involved international architects and hundreds of stakeholders, Heery needed a robust collaboration approach to control time, cost and quality across the project lifecycle.

Heery implemented Viewpoint For Project Collaboration to centralize documents, enforce revision control and audit changes so every team member worked from the same versions and responsibilities were traceable. The platform supported extensive activity on the job—122,348 document uploads, 706,056 downloads, 58,454 documents/drawings managed, 789 users and 251 organizations—helping Heery maintain coordination and oversight throughout delivery.
