Concord General Contracting is a mid-sized construction management firm based in Mesa and Tucson, Arizona, that handles educational, religious, medical, municipal and historic renovation projects. Facing fragmented systems (previously Sage 300/Timberline), Concord struggled with duplicate data entry, inconsistent processes, forecasting errors and limited capacity to scale.
Concord implemented Vista by Viewpoint to consolidate accounting, pre-construction and project management, including document imaging and workflow configured to its processes. Since the switch they’ve more than doubled construction volume with only minimal additional staff, saved the equivalent of at least three employee salaries (cited savings of over $100,000 in staffing plus $200,000 in reduced profit fade annually), cut job waste and improved collaboration, forecasting and turnaround times—yielding estimated average project savings of at least 0.5%.
