Mace, appointed by European Land to deliver the £100m 3 Merchant Square residential development in west London, needed a way to speed up repetitive, location-specific site processes such as snagging, inspections and handovers while improving visibility and reporting across the supply chain. The senior project team wanted a single, standardised mobile system to replace slow, email- and paper-based workflows and to provide a reliable audit trail for quality and handover activities.

Mace deployed Viewpoint’s Field View on Android tablets (around 50 devices plus client access), using a train‑the‑trainer approach to configure project-specific forms and workflows. The solution supported approvals, off-site inspections, site diaries and contractor handovers, cutting snagging time per apartment from about two hours to roughly 30 minutes, reducing paperwork, speeding up reporting, standardising outputs and creating robust, time‑stamped audit trails with potential for roll‑out on other projects.
