How LINK and AlzeCure utilized Viedoc-powered screening

LINK Medical, a Nordic contract research organization (CRO), faced the challenge of enrolling participants for a clinical trial on peripheral neuropathic pain for AlzeCure Pharma. The nature of the condition and hesitancy from the pandemic made traditional, in-person screening difficult. They turned to their vendor, Viedoc, to explore a remote and digital solution to make participation easier and more efficient.

The solution was a Viedoc-powered remote screening process that utilized the platform's newly created capabilities for video calls, telephone communication, and a patient information video. This approach allowed for initial remote prescreening, limiting the need for patients to physically visit a site. Viedoc's tools helped LINK Medical efficiently engage with patients, resulting in 145 registrations and the successful screening of participants for the trial, which demonstrated promising results for the drug candidate.
