FGK Clinical Research enrolls 159 patients across 44 sites with Viedoc

FGK Clinical Research, a full-service CRO, faced significant challenges managing a large Phase IIb trial for chronic venous ulcers. The complex study involved a hard-to-reach patient population with high screening failure rates and was further complicated by the need for remote site coordination during the COVID-19 pandemic. FGK partnered with vendor Viedoc to implement its electronic data capture (EDC) platform to address these operational and recruitment hurdles.

Viedoc provided a flexible and intuitive EDC system that enabled continuous remote site onboarding and customized eCRF updates throughout the lengthy recruitment period. This solution, supported by strong collaboration between all parties, allowed the study to successfully enroll 159 patients across 44 sites despite the challenges. The successful outcome paved the way for an ongoing Phase III trial, demonstrating the measurable impact of Viedoc's technology in streamlining data collection and site management.
