How MobiTV (now Xperi) personalized the mobile premium video experience for each of their users

MobiTV, now Xperi, is a global leader in live and on-demand video delivery across devices. To improve engagement on small mobile screens, MobiTV needed a way to personalize the premium video experience for each subscriber, use behavioral and content data more effectively, and integrate smoothly across mobile, tablet, TV, and other endpoints. Vidora’s personalization platform, including Cortex and its Personalization APIs, was used to address these needs.

Vidora implemented real-time behavioral data ingestion, continuous content library ingestion, and machine-learning decisioning to deliver one-to-one recommendations and personalized experiences such as content, category, trending, and similar content recommendations. As a result, MobiTV improved user engagement and increased returning visitors, while also meeting the scale and stability requirements of a premium video provider.
