Kern County - Customer Case Study

Kern County needed a live-streaming solution for two major elections to improve public access and transparency around ballot counting, absentee vote processing, and vote-by-mail handling. The county also needed to cover two main locations with multiple 4K cameras, with the option to monitor 15 remote ballot Dropbox locations, and retain election footage for 22 months to meet state regulations. Kern County turned to VIDIZMO EnterpriseTube to meet those requirements.

VIDIZMO implemented EnterpriseTube to live stream the ballot counting room and absentee vote processing area, with the flexibility to extend coverage to remote Dropbox locations if needed. The county ran daily streams from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM before and after the election, recorded five streams concurrently, and stored them securely for 22 months. A centralized dashboard also let Kern County schedule and monitor election activity and provide public access for more than two months.
