A Videoly Case Study
Mike’s Bikes, the largest independent bike retailer in the US, needed a better way to manage product videos across thousands of product pages. Their small team was spending too much time manually finding, matching, and embedding videos while trying to avoid broken links and keep content current, especially for a technical category like cycling. They turned to Videoly to automate the process and enrich product pages with relevant video content.
With Videoly’s video management solution integrated into Shopify, Mike’s Bikes automatically added more than 1,700 product videos in just one month with no manual work or dev effort. The results were strong: product pages with videos saw a 33.5% lower exit rate and a 12.14% reduction in bounce rate, while add-to-cart conversions from viewers increased by 415% on desktop and 403% on mobile.
