How Utilita Energy used Videoloft to modernize their security system

Utilita Energy, a UK-based electricity and gas supplier, sought to modernize their surveillance systems across their network of hubs. Their challenge was to transition from local recorders to a cloud-based storage system without replacing their existing Dahua IP cameras. They approached Videoloft through their installer to find a compatible solution.

Videoloft provided a cloud-based video management system that allowed Utilita to bypass local recorders and send footage directly to the cloud. This eliminated the need for a costly infrastructure overhaul. As a result, Utilita simplified their surveillance, reduced maintenance overheads, and improved operational efficiency with flexible, remote access to footage. Videoloft's solution is now used in 11 hubs with another planned for implementation.
