Swappie, an online retailer of refurbished smartphones, faced a challenge in recruiting for Russian-speaking positions due to a lack of available Russian-speaking team leads to conduct screening calls and interviews. This made the initial candidate screening process extremely time-consuming and created significant scheduling difficulties. To address this, they turned to the vendor VideoCV for a video recruitment solution.

By implementing VideoCV's service, Swappie was able to efficiently screen candidates' personalities and motivation through video, saving recruiters and team leads approximately two hours per day. The solution provided an excellent candidate experience and allowed them to see the person beyond the paper CV. Out of 75 applicants invited, 32 completed a video CV, leading to 25 interviews and a much more efficient hiring pipeline for VideoCV's client.
