How This Top-Ranked Business School Gets a 360˚ View of Students

Kelley School of Business faced 270 applicants for a limited number of diversity scholarships and needed a fair, scalable way to evaluate candidates from historically underrepresented groups. To solve this, they partnered with VidCruiter and used Pre-Recorded Video Interviews and Structured Digital Interviews to give reviewers a consistent, standardized view of each applicant.

VidCruiter’s pre-recorded video platform, combined with a timed written-essay component and random reviewer assignment, streamlined evaluation by automatically consolidating and ranking feedback and reducing bias. The improved process helped Kelley award 53 diversity scholarships, saved committee time by eliminating manual aggregation, provided a more 360° view of students, and has been adopted by other programs across the university.
