Case Study: SUEZ reduces installation time and footprint with Victaulic PFAS station fabrication

A Victaulic Case Study

Suez cuts PFAS station installation labor by 50% with Victaulic

Suez faced a challenge during the construction of a new PFAS treatment station in Pomona, NY, where the initially designed fully flanged system promised a time-consuming on-site installation for contractor Coppola. To increase efficiency, they turned to vendor Victaulic for a fabricated piping solution.

Victaulic's solution involved converting the design to a grooved system and prefabricating labeled spools using Victaulic couplings, valves, and ductile iron pipe. This allowed for easy on-site assembly, eliminating the need for a traditional stick-build approach. The results were substantial, with Victaulic's system reducing contractor labor time by approximately half while also providing a reduced footprint and easier future maintenance access.
