Sheridan College fast-tracks a $47.5M campus heating project with Victaulic

Sheridan College faced a compressed construction schedule and the challenge of installing complex heating systems within a confined space for a new campus facility. The contractor, Insight Engineering and Construction, partnered with vendor Victaulic and its Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) service to overcome these obstacles.

Victaulic's solution involved using 3D modeling to optimize the piping layout and identify issues beforehand. The team also employed Installation-Ready™ products and created an efficient installation sequence, including setting up on-site fabrication. As a result, Victaulic helped complete the district energy center's heating system ahead of schedule, ensuring it was ready for the new semester.
