Sevab Strängnäs Energi installs 16” drinking water pipeline with Victaulic

Sevab Strängnäs Energi needed to install a new buried drinking water distribution pipeline in Strängnäs, Sweden, with a compressed construction schedule and minimal disruption to area traffic. They partnered with Victaulic and selected the Victaulic Advanced Grooved System (AGS) couplings for the project.

Victaulic provided its grooved pipe joining solution, specifically AGS couplings for the 16” carbon steel pipe, which eliminated the need for welding. This allowed for a fast, safe, and reliable installation, with contractors able to work in manageable trench sections. The result was a cost-effective and easily maintainable piping system delivered with schedule certainty for the project owner.
