Case Study: IT4Innovations achieves efficient data center cooling with Victaulic BIM coordination and prefabricated pipework

A Victaulic Case Study

IT4Innovations extends data centre cooling with Victaulic for 500m² supercomputer hall

IT4Innovations, a leading research and innovation center operating the Czech Republic's most powerful supercomputer, faced the challenge of expanding its data center cooling system within a confined campus space and without a traditional construction site. Partnering with contractor PRONIX, they turned to vendor Victaulic for its Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) services and grooved piping solutions to meet a compressed schedule and ensure precise temperature control.

Victaulic utilized its VDC team to create a detailed 3D model of the pipework and provided grooved couplings for a prefabricated solution. This approach allowed PRONIX to assemble much of the system offsite, overcoming the space constraints and minimizing disruption on the university campus. Victaulic's solution ensured the project was completed successfully, providing IT4Innovations with a reliable and adaptable cooling system to support its critical high-performance computing infrastructure for the future.
