City of Longmont treats up to 15 MGD with Victaulic

The City of Longmont required a solution for their wastewater treatment plant's aeration piping system that could accommodate thermal expansion and contraction. Victaulic provided its grooved coupling solutions, including the Style 177N QuickVic™ Flexible Couplings, to address this challenge.

Victaulic's solution eliminated the need for bellows and dangerous, time-consuming welding processes. The contractor, PCL Construction, significantly reduced its construction schedule and manpower requirements, joining a 60-foot header pipe section in less than one hour.
