For Jasper Highlands Mountaintop Community, Security is More than a Luxury

Jasper Highlands Mountaintop Community faced the challenge of securing a secluded, 9,000‑acre luxury development while monitoring contractors, residents and visitors across dispersed amenities. To meet that need, the community worked with Vicon, deploying a Valerus video management system paired with roughly 30 high‑definition Vicon cameras and a single NVR—an IP‑based, browser- and mobile-accessible solution that brings high-resolution surveillance to remote locations.

Vicon’s Valerus deployment links cameras across the gated entrance, pavilion, sales center and support facilities via the community’s fiber network, including four 5MP gate cameras that capture license plates and a 12MP summit camera whose live feed even airs on local TV. The system simplified remote management, improved resident safety and construction oversight, provided actionable evidence for law enforcement, and offers scalable growth as the development expands—all delivering measurable operational visibility across the entire Jasper Highlands Mountaintop Community.
