Furset Group Automated 89% of its Accounting Process with AI

Furset Group, a hospitality company based in Oslo with 500+ employees and nearly 30 restaurants, canteens, and event venues, wanted to standardize and automate its restaurant operations, especially accounts payable and back-office document management. To help reduce manual accounting work, the company turned to Vic.ai’s cloud-based AI invoice workflow platform.

Vic.ai was implemented across multiple Furset Group entities to automate invoice management and scale with the group’s standardized chart of accounts and shared suppliers. The results were strong: by October 2020, Vic.ai reached 89% overall accuracy, with 92% of invoice fields and 86% of product lines processed autonomously, delivering major efficiency gains and moving Furset Group closer to full AP automation.
