Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) needed a way to keep a large, highly distributed healthcare and education network running reliably for more than 10,000 users across multiple campuses and clinics. With mission-critical EMR applications, HD videoconferencing, and high service expectations, the IT team needed better visibility to quickly isolate whether problems were caused by the network, the application, or both. VIAVI Solutions deployed the Observer Platform with distributed Probes and Analyzers across TTUHSC’s network, giving the team end-to-end visibility into packet loss, QoS, clock drift, and application behavior.
