The public transport provider BVG utilized Vianova's data platform to address the challenge of strategically planning and managing e-scooter parking, aiming to better integrate shared mobility with public transport across Berlin. The goal was to enhance urban infrastructure by creating effective mobility hubs and parking zones based on reliable usage data.

Vianova's solution provided BVG with long-term historical analysis of e-scooter parking behavior, which was used to plan 150 new parking zones and mobility hubs. The platform enabled BVG to monitor hub performance and implement new policies, resulting in a fivefold increase in the number of scooters parked correctly in hubs in the city center with no loss of demand.
