Using Viam’s edge data capture solution and plug-and-play backend pipelines, Digital Yacht implemented the AnchorSafe feature. This solution monitors a boat’s position and sends instant push notifications and text messages to a user’s smartphone if the vessel drifts outside a set radius. The collaboration enabled Digital Yacht to build and deploy this capability in just a few weeks, resulting in a widely available app that gives boaters greater peace of mind with reliable, real-time drift detection.
