Barracuda Networks, a global cybersecurity provider, needed a more scalable way to manage quarterly access reviews for SOX and SOC 2 compliance across its growing cloud, internal, and homegrown applications. The company struggled to connect identity data from Active Directory with permissions across systems and data resources, making access governance a centralized, labor-intensive process. With Veza’s Access Graph, Open Authorization API, workflows, and tags, Barracuda centralized authorization visibility and gave system owners a single pane of glass to review entitlements, investigate anomalies, and make access decisions in real time. The solution reduced manual effort, sped up audits and evidence collection, and enabled more responsible data management across AWS, Entra ID, GitHub, and custom apps. Barracuda reported that Veza made the process manageable, time-saving, and scalable for ongoing access reviews and compliance needs.
