Modernizing the management of agricultural land recovery instruments for the Xunta de Galicia
The Xunta de Galicia faced the challenge of reversing rural depopulation and recovering abandoned agricultural land, a process complicated by fragmented land ownership and inefficient, manual workflows for locating plot owners. Vexiza addressed this challenge by developing the TERREC platform for the customer.
Vexiza's solution integrated data from Catastro and INE into a single platform, replacing separate Excel and ArcGIS tools. This allowed for massive data queries, visualization of plots, and monitoring of recovery tasks from a unified dashboard. The implementation by Vexiza saved the Xunta de Galicia a considerable amount of time and effort, successfully reviving agricultural activity and reducing fire risks in the region.
