Global Insurance Company needed to keep fraud detection and other risk analytics performing as data volumes grew rapidly from increasing mobile traffic. Their existing all-flash array was not scaling well enough to support SAS Fraud Management analytics with embedded machine learning, so they turned to Vexata and its VX-100F Scalable NVMe Flash Array.

Vexata implemented an architecture based on the VX-100F with Fibre Channel connectivity and VMware ESX to improve server utilization and scale capacity independently of compute. The result was 40GB/s throughput, more than 20GB/s write performance, a 400% improvement in fraud detection performance, and a reduction from four servers to one, delivering significant cost savings.
