The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB), the UK’s national training provider and awarding body for the engineering construction workforce with just under 100 employees, needed to improve staff engagement with senior managers. An Investors in People assessment and follow-up survey showed 93% of staff wanted a suggestion scheme (52% preferring anonymous submission), so ECITB selected Vetter’s hosted suggestion-management service to provide a simple, web-accessible channel for ideas and challenges.

Vetter deployed its platform (NoticeBoard, challenges, voting, status tags and archive) and supported the launch with bulk invitations and live tech support, delivering quick responses and minimal IT burden. ECITB says the system is low-maintenance—3–6 hours of admin in month one and about 1–2 hours per month thereafter—while directors now review, tag and track ideas monthly via Vetter, improving transparency, participation and idea management.
