Sierra West Airlines phases out nearly all paper manuals with Veryon

Sierra West Airlines, an on-demand air charter company, faced operational challenges as its fleet expanded and it flew to more destinations. Relying on paper maintenance manuals hosted on a central server was inefficient, particularly during Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations when mechanics in the field lacked immediate access to necessary documentation. The company sought a digital solution to replace these volumes of paper and turned to Veryon for its Veryon Publications service.

Veryon implemented its internet-based Publications service, providing mechanics with online access to up-to-date manuals from anywhere. This eliminated the need to carry physical copies and allowed for faster access to compliance information. The solution drastically reduced AOG downtime by enabling mechanics to perform unanticipated repairs in the field without delay. As a result, Sierra West Airlines was able to phase out nearly all paper manuals at its main maintenance facility, significantly improving operational efficiency and ensuring timely regulatory compliance.
