How Airwork Went Paperless With Veryon Tracking+

Airwork Holdings, an Auckland-based operator of ACMI Boeing 737 services across Australia and New Zealand, was hampered by limited in-flight communications and manual, paper-based OOOI (Gate Out/Wheels Off/Wheels On/Gate In) logging that caused inaccuracies, missing journeys and delays. To modernize journey tracking, Airwork Holdings engaged Veryon to build on its ENVISION MRO platform and find a paperless solution.

Veryon integrated Honeywell SkyConnect satellite trackers across the fleet and created a data link from the SkyConnect portal into ENVISION with sequencing, dashboards, reports and exception alerts. The implementation delivers continuous GPS tracking, journey data available in ENVISION as soon as aircraft land, 100% accurate logs, automatic hours-and-cycles updates, elimination of paper journey logs, and a marked increase in operational efficiency with considerable cost reductions.
